Petra wrote, directed, and shot "Sunset Country," premiering at the Melbourne International Film Festival as part of the Accelerator program and has been screened at film festivals worldwide. Her work on "Sunset Country" is marked by a distinctive style that blends beauty with the mundane and discomfort. Her thesis film, a contemplation on old age, loss, and grief, showcases her capacity to evoke the cinematic Sublime.
Furthering her career, Petra contributed as the second unit Director of Photography (DoP) on "Lost Flowers of Alice Hart," which won Best Cinematography at the AACTA Awards, affirming her involvement in highly acclaimed projects.
